Ayoola is currently an R&D Engineer at Masdar. His work involves using Mathematical Modeling tools to design and optimize energy systems. He has a rich background in the various solar technologies having taken professional courses, been involved in deployment projects and authored a book chapter on the topic. He has also been involved in R&D projects aimed at converting palm fruit biomass to hydrogen fuel via gasification. Ayoola holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.
Musbaudeen O. Bamgbopa
Musbaudeen is currently a researcher at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology where he is working on the application of flow batteries for energy storage in large scale renewable energy power plants towards a Doctorate degree. His research endeavors also include organic Rankine cycles, energy recovery, solar thermal energy and energy sustainability. He has authored publications in these research fields in reputable journals and international conferences.Musbaudeen has an M.Sc.in Sustainable Environment and Energy Systems from Middle East Technical University.
Tuza Adeyemi Olukan
Tuza is currently involved in the development and characterization of high efficiency solar cells at Masdar. He is also developing a photovoltaic (PV) software/application for the UAE. He has an extensive background in project management, solar technologies and modeling of physical processes. His completed projects include; thermo-electrical modeling of PV technologies in the UAE using Finite element method and an economic analysis of the PV technology in the UAE environment. Tuza has an M.Sc. in Material Science Engineering from Masdar Institute.
Oghare Victor Ogidiama
Oghare is currently a P.hD. student at Masdar Institute. He works as a research assistant carrying out research on using captured CO2 emitted from power plants and refineries for enhancing oil and gas recovery -- an artificial carbon cycle. Prior to joining Masdar, Oghare worked in several key oil and gas companies in Nigeria between 2007 and 2012. This includes working in the facilities maintenance department at Chevron, Warri and Saipem (an Eni company) in the procurement department. Oghare holds an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (2013). He enjoys traveling a lot.
Samuel Olufemi Sofela
Samuel is currently working in Masdar as a Research Assistant in the development of Micro-ElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) for use as Inertia Measurement Units (IMUs - gyroscopes and accelerometers) to bolster efficiency in renewable energy generation systems. He possess a wide background in Business Consultant, Sales Analyst and Engineer in the Oil, Beverage and Agricultural Industries.
Charles work focuss on energy efficiency through thermal analyses and management in cooling systems, solar panels, water desalination plants and other industrial equipment characterized by fluid phase change processes. He has experience in connstruction equipment maintenance, asset management and logistics. Charles holds an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.
Adesola holds a Masters Degree from the Materials Engineering Department of Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is currently involved in advanced energy and integrated sustainable development. His work focuses more on optimizing melting and casting processes in aluminium industries for efficient energy systems.
